Feedback from Mike Simons
Cubic Sound have provided sound three times to me - twice as an acoustic duo with the great Peter Bosse on bass & a third time for the band, SeaLevel (Grant Halliday, Lance Goldman, Peter Bosse & myself, Mike Simons.
Every occasion was expertly & professionally done. The team are very accommodating & go out of their way to ensure the comfort & satisfaction of the musicians. I personally as a muso, feel that if my sound is good, I can relax & really enjoy my gig & play at my best.
The first occasion when I played with Peter Bosse, Cubic sound used the Crystal line & the sound was superb for the venue I played. Steve & Pete went the extra mile to give me the best possible sound.
The second occasion also with Peter Bosse, the Master line range & the sound was even better as these are the top of the range. In addition to enjoying the gig with great sound, Steve & Pete recorded us & we came away with a superb recording of the gig.
The third occasion Cubic Sound provided a powerful rig, again the Master line, to accommodate a 4 piece band with a full drumkit. The levels were great & the drum sound great, which I feel many sound engineers battle to get right - on this occasion the drum sound was beautifully balanced with the overall band sound. Again, I was struck by the professionalism of Steve & Pete & the gig went extremely well. Our onstage sound was 100% which meant that we as muso's could relax & thoroughly enjoy the gig & play at our best & most relaxed. The quality of the sound on & off the stage was incredible & I heard a lot of positive & great feedback from the patrons & venue owners.
Cubic Sound has proved to me there versatility in so far as providing rigs for small & medium venues as well as large open venues where a lot more power is required.
